DOWNTOWN EAST

NTUC Downtown East is an entertainment hub located in Pasir Ris, Singapore. It is 147,000 square metres in area and was officially opened on 5 November 2000. It is run by NTUC Club. It provides leisure and entertainment for families and youths. It competes with the two IRs, especially Resorts World Sentosa. It has free wi-fi from 2006 onwards.

Various types of entertainment features are being provided in NTUC Downtown East. Such features are shopping, arcades and many others. The attractions include:

Wild Wild Wet, a water park.
eXplorerKid, a playroom for your kids!
MegaBounce, a trampoline to launch you 8 metres high.

– Wild Wild Wet –

Opened in 2004, Wild Wild Wet is one of Singapore’s largest water park. We promise you a day of thrills and spills for the whole family. Situated at Downtown East, it remains one of the most popular family attractions in Singapore by NTUC Club. From adrenalin-pumping rides to relaxing and gentle ones, visitors are guaranteed a fun-filled day while they beat the heat.

Amidst the fun, our guests’ safety remains our top priority. Various inflatable floats customised for different rides ensure adventures come with safety in mind as well. To enhance safety, life jackets are available for adults and children for free. Baby water carriers are also available to allow parents to have a splashing good time with their infants. Our lifeguards are specially trained in stringent international standards for lifeguarding at water-based attractions.

Not only do children’s parties at Wild Wild Wet guarantee a memorable experience for the little ones, it also makes for a very unique location for company functions. U Live members and toddlers below the age of three enjoy free admission. Family packages are also available.

– eXplorerKid –

eXplorerkid is a family-friendly club for families with children aged 12 and younger. We operate the largest indoor playground in Singapore, eXplorerkid @ E!hub, in Downtown East and eXplorerkid @ AMK Hub. eXplorerkid is part of NTUC Club, the leisure and entertainment arm of the Labour Movement. There are fun and challenging play stations for kids, and relaxation facilities for accompanying parents and guardians.

At eXplorerkid, we encourage learning through exploration. To transport our young to a fantasy world of learning and discovery, the eXplorerkid indoor children playground is a highly-tactile one designed around a mystical forest theme. As the children explore the eXplorerkid indoor playground’s Mystical Forest, they are exposed to fun-play obstacles and educational elements.

We run an attractive ongoing membership programme to encourage families with children aged 12 years and below to join us as members of the extended NTUC family.

∗∗∗∗∗ Its an amazing adventure for my 11 years old son to go through the challenges of the play station by himself. But the thing is that i feel that it isnt really worth it to pay such amount of money just for a indoor playroom but nevertheless i had fun watching my son smile and making new friends. So, it is worth a visit.

MegaBounce is a bungy assisted trampoline and is an attraction for the young and the young at heart. The four trampolines allow family and friends to leap to heights of over 8 metres, whilst performing gravity defying flips and turns! Elasticated bungy ropes guide the guest, elevating them as high as they want and then guiding them to a safe landing.
